Factor I - Appeal & Quality

Action Plan

My game is similar to both of these games in terms of world-building, narrative & gameplay. However, the most crucial aspect for its success is to generate player interest. For this, I was Inspired by Deltarune and how the developer did that. Similarly, I plan to release Seeds of Conflict in chapters, offering the first few parts for free. This creates accessibility and builds excitement, while players get attached to the story and gameplay. By offering early chapters at no cost, players are more likely to invest in future paid chapters, knowing the game’s quality firsthand.

Factor II - Pricing

Action Plan

All the games listed are well-known indie titles with loyal fanbases and success in sales. Seeing that most indie games are priced around $10 shows a market trend. Building on this, after releasing free chapters of my game to generate interest, I plan to price paid chapters at $10–$15 (/£) for around 10 hours of gameplay per chapter. This approach balances affordability with value, aligning with player expectations in the genre while ensuring the game remains accessible and appealing to a wide audience.
