For this project, I have chosen to work solo. With a pre-established and ambitious game concept, this approach grants me full creative control, allowing me to stay true to my vision without the difficulties of coordinating a team. By focusing solely on my own workflow and can streamline decision-making and eliminate potential delays that come from aligning a group of individuals with varying skills and schedules.

To ensure efficiency, I have a range of resources at my disposal. These include high-quality asset packs to accelerate scene design, copyright-free music and a library of models and code I’ve previously created, which can be reused or repurposed to move development.

Additionally, I have built strong connections with talented peers and collaborators. For example, I have friends who can assist with more complex aspects like custom artwork and two extremely gifted music students from university that I met during the Phase IV Presentation at the John Hansard Gallery have expressed enthusiasm for contributing to the game’s soundtrack.

I fully acknowledge the challenges of undertaking a solo project, especially the demands on time and focus. To address this, I have developed a timeline/to-do list to keep myself organized and ensure steady progress. By allocating time effectively and avoiding bottlenecks, I am confident in my ability to maintain momentum throughout the development process.

With my technical expertise in coding, modelling and other development areas, a robust set of resources and the support of passionate collaborators, I am well-equipped to deliver a high-quality Final Major Project. This solo approach not only aligns with my goals but also allows me to showcase my skills and commitment to creating a compelling and polished game experience.
