To market my game effectively, I plan to leverage platforms like Discord, creating a community-driven space for updates, news and feedback. After presenting at the John Hansard Gallery, I presented a link to my Discord server that gained 20 members in under 24 hours.

This server is mainly for engagement and feedback, especially when demos are available, while also giving players of the demos reason to promote the game through word of mouth. Away from discord, I’ve also created an Instagram development blog to share occasional updates and visuals.

I will utilise indie-friendly platforms like itch.io and Steam for distribution and advertising post-university. To reach a broader audience, I’ve also created an Instagram development blog to share occasional updates and visuals.

Lastly, considering that I plan to continue this project after University, I will also look into crowdfunding to help with development costs. Platforms like Kickstarter and GoFundMe being the main choices as I will also be able to market my game on these platforms and gain attention.
