Conflict is central to human experience, involving internal conflicts (moral dilemmas) or external conflicts (war and competition). It drives narratives forward and is essential in showing character growth and dynamics, like in Game of Thrones, where power struggles are central to the plot.

Adventure is the quest for exploration and discovery, again often tied to personal growth or a search for knowledge. It emphasises the excitement and dangers of the unknown. Take ‘The Hobbit’ for example, where Bilbo embarks on a dangerous journey to find himself.
Audio Log/Thought Process:
Hope is a belief in a better future, often helping characters to persist through adversity. In ‘The Hunger Games’, hope is embodied by Katniss as a symbol of rebellion, fuelling a resistance against oppression.

Peace is the opposite of conflict, a resolution and the establishment of harmony. It's a heavily desired state but is more often than not, extremely fragile. In narratives like ‘Lord of the Rings’, peace is hard-won and maintaining it requires cautiousness.
