Taking inspiration from games like Kingdom Hearts, the sound design in Seeds of Conflict should mirror the game’s feel and atmosphere.
During battle, or when players perform certain actions, the sounds should also mirror the feel:

The music is solely dependent on the location.
For example, in Zothar, the music might take on a slower, hauntingly beautiful theme, capturing the quiet and almost melancholic nature of the environment.

It could also have a bit of a determined feel to it. Like a civilization, despite its setbacks, slowly getting back on its feet.

In contrast, Guardia’s theme would be upbeat and fantastical, matching the kingdom’s lively, energetic atmosphere as it prepares for potential conflict.

In some areas, I was considering having the music evolve dynamically based on the player's location and progression. As the player moves closer to their objective, the music subtly shifts to reflect the atmosphere and tone of the environment.
This approach is inspired by games like Tears of the Kingdom does this at the start of the game as Link and Zelda descend the underground cavern beneath Hyrule Castle to find Ganondorf’s corpse.
