Interest. That’s just about it. But the real question is how? How do we capture interest and have players want to sit down and play the games that we make? A very recent failure in the games industry is a hard learned lesson, showcasing that just because you pour millions of dollars into a game for development, it means nothing if players just aren’t interested…

Players need to be, to be immersed and immersion is about creating something that captivates the player's attention as well as emotions. But its important not to take it to heart when some people don’t like the game. Its just not their cup of tea and that’s alright.
