Age Range

The target age range for Seeds of Conflict is 16 - 35 years old. The game’s narrative driven focus and overall gameplay features are more likely to appeal to players within this range. While younger audiences might enjoy aspects of the game, the mature themes present such as betrayal, loyalty and conflict make it better suited for older teens and adults as they will be able to appreciate them more than the former group. This range also appeals to both dedicated gamers looking for depth and casual players interested in meaningful storytelling.

Factors Considered For Finding Age Range

Race and Gender

Seeds of Conflict is designed to be inclusive, welcoming players of all races, genders and backgrounds. I aim to create a world that feels relatable and authentic to players from all walks of life.

Employment Status

Due to the immersive nature of the game, Seeds of Conflict will likely appeal to students, part-time workers and professionals who have the resources to purchase the game and also the time to engage with its story. Players with a mix of break time and ‘disposable income’, like university students or young professional are ideal for this type of experience.

Platform

The game is being developed for PC as the primary platform.

While console compatibility may be considered post-launch, the PC’s flexibility in supporting graphical fidelity. Mobile platforms, though appealing for their accessibility, may not suit the game’s longer sessions.
